Meet the Vendor: Joe's Brook Farm

Their Story

Joe’s Brook Farm started in 2009 with a small tomato greenhouse and an oversized garden by Mary and Eric Skovsted. In 2012, the farm had expanded to several acres, 3 employees, and was certified organic. By 2013, they began leasing prime agricultural land and our farm became a full family operation. Now farm customers can regularly access their certified organic produce at local co-ops, the farm stand, their CSA, and four area farmers markets. Joe's Brook Farm starts every year with sales of maple syrup, flowers, hanging baskets and vegetable starts at their farm stand, and through their spring CSA. As the harvest season unfolds, they offer an ever changing variety of exceptional produce and berries to their customers. Through it all they maintain a commitment to community stewardship, the local economy, and organic principles while offering the highest quality vegetables and berries at a fair price.
